What is Our Objective?

To Connect, Educate and Motivate

BendAburu  is a non-partisan hub for Free Thinking conversations comprised of anyone; independent journalists, concerned citizens, activists, academics, specialist researchers and anyone who  wants to shape the direction of our world.

We work to promote good governance, control corruption and the daunting task of holding public servants, and those in positions of leadership to account. By asking the hard questions, and sharing information which the mainstream media refuses to ask, we shine a little more light on truth.

We focus our effort to independently investigate every post, and not meerly serve the audience with an appetite for instant, click-bait ‘news’.

BendAburu seeks to connect, educate, and motivate those who are interested in alerting the public to the pertinent issues that are affecting our lives each and every day.  Our goal is to create a community of truth-seekers and peacemakers who share a commitment to nonviolent action.

BendAburu is not so much an individual or group, but an idea, an idea that “We the People” are the change we wish to see in this world. Together, as residents of this planet, we can push back against those who wish to dominate our lives and begin to restore liberty to all.

With a special focus on Fact-Checking, Ethics, Leadership, Storytelling, we check the various versions of events against credible facts and opinion provided by journalists, concerned citizens, academics, specialist researchers and anyone. We then publish both versions, together with our commentary, in free BendAburu Alerts and invite readers to deliver their verdict both to us and to mainstream journalists and concerned parties through the email addresses provided in our ’Suggested Action’ at the end of each alert.

Code of Conduct

We urge contributors to adopt a polite, rational and respectful tone at all times – we strongly oppose all abuse and personal attack. We also publish BendAburu Moments, which are cogitations, exploring related personal and philosophical themes.
